If you are like me and can’t stand the thought of spending hours at a gym while breaking your bank in the process, then this article is for you. I’m going to introduce Navy Seal Fitness workouts: a free alternative that will help get you into shape without having to break the bank or spend hours on end at a gym; it’s perfect for someone like you!
What is Navy Seal Fitness?
These types of exercises use bodyweight, kettlebells, and calisthenics which will help you build lean muscles while getting your heart rate up during intense cardio sessions.
The main difference between Navy Seal fitness and a regular gym routine is that it’s all about short yet intense workouts. That means you will be working out for 30 minutes or less but still getting the same results as someone who spends hours at the gym each day.
What Bodyweight Exercises Are Included?
Bodyweight exercises are perfect for Navy Seal Fitness because they can be done anywhere and don’t require any equipment. That means you will get a great workout without ever leaving your home! Here are some bodyweight exercises that will help build lean muscles:
Crunches – Lie on back with bent knees, hands behind neck or head. Curl upper body up to touch knees or elbows to the ground.
Push-Ups – Start in a high plank position with hands shoulder-width apart on the floor, abs engaged, and body straight from head to heels. Bend elbows out to sides, lowering chest close to the floor while keeping back flat throughout the movement. Press up through palms into starting position.
Lunges – Stand straight and take a large step forward with your right leg. Lower yourself until your left knee almost touches the ground, making sure to keep weight in the heel of your front foot during this movement. Return to a standing position by pushing off from your back foot and bringing up arms overhead into lockout position (make fists). Repeat on the same side for specified reps or alternate legs.
What Kettlebell Exercises Can I Do?
Kettlebell exercises are a great addition to Navy Seal Fitness workouts because these weights can increase your strength, muscle definition, and endurance levels-all at the same time! Here are some of my favorite kettlebell exercises that will help you get the most out of your workouts:
Kettlebell Swing – Start with feet hip-width apart, hinge forward at hips to grab kettlebell by handle. While keeping back flat and abs engaged, swing weight between legs, then thrust hips forward while swinging the kettlebell up towards chest level (make sure not to hit yourself in the face!). Repeat for specified reps or time.
Kettlebell Snatch – Start with feet hip-width apart, hinge forward at hips to grab kettlebell by handle, and stand up while swinging weight between legs until it reaches shoulder height. Lower the kettlebell back down and repeat for specified reps or time.
What Are Calisthenics Exercises Included?
If you are looking for a workout that will help you burn calories and build lean muscle, then calisthenics might be just the thing. These workouts are designed to combine both your strength training with explosive movements, so each rep is as intense as possible! Here’s what calisthenics exercises can do for you:
Squat Jumps – Start with feet shoulder-width apart, hands behind head or straight out in front of you. Squat down to 90 degrees, then jump up as high as possible while extending legs and arms (make sure not to touch the ground between reps!). Repeat for specified reps or time.
The Importance of Rest and Recovery
While Navy Seal Fitness workouts are all about pushing yourself, it’s also important to give your body the rest that it needs so you can recover from each session and build lean muscle! Make sure to get a good night sleep, eat well and drink plenty of water when you’re not training.
